For invigilated tests or quizzes held on-campus, you can request to enable Respondus LockDown Browser (RLDB).
Please send an email to VUCollaborateHelp@vu.edu.au with the information below.
- Your Unit Code & Teaching Period
- Confirm that your test will be on-campus and invigilated
- Indicate if students are bringing their own device, or which Computer Lab you have booked
For the time being RLDB remains disabled in VU Collaborate for all Higher Education units, and will only be activated for on-campus invigilated tests by request. This is due to limitations in its capacity to effectively prevent cheating in an online un-invigilated test setting, and issues relating to providing adequate remote technical support.
